Accessibility

Consultran wants every motor carrier to be able to use this site — including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. In practice, that means:

  • Every page works with a keyboard alone — including the navigation menus, the FAQ accordion, and the quote request form.
  • Pages use meaningful headings, landmarks, and labels that assistive technology can navigate.
  • Text and interactive controls meet WCAG contrast minimums, and we never rely on color alone to convey meaning.
  • Animations respect your device’s reduced-motion setting.
  • Our forms announce errors to screen readers, and still submit if JavaScript doesn’t load.

We check our work with automated accessibility tests (axe) and manual keyboard passes before changes go live.

Known limitations

  • Our client reviews link out to Google Maps; that page’s accessibility is Google’s, not ours.
  • Some older blog posts include screenshots of government forms. The surrounding step-by-step text carries the same information.
